¡Feliz Día de Muertos!
Happy Day of the Dead!

We have an exciting celebration planned for Día de Muertos this year!
Beginning on Sunday, November 1st, there will be a traditional Día de Muertos altar, or ofrenda, located in the Cooperstown Public Library. We encourage you to bring copies of pictures of your loved ones to place on the ofrenda! (Please do not bring original photographs or any photo you would not like to lose! For more information, please view the Library Altar page.)

On Saturday, November 7th beginning at 1pm, we will have live story telling and craft making, and other activies for us to celebrate Dia de Muertos in a fun and safe way!

Saturday November 7th
1pm – Bienvenidos! Welcome!
1:10pm- Live Virtual Storytime
I Remember Abuelito by Janice Levy
1:30pm – Live Virtual Marigold Making activity
1:45pm – Live Virtual Picture Frame activity
2pm – Concluding Remarks

We will also have materials available to pick up at the Library to use during our Live craft sessions, including making paper marigolds! Come pick up a packet, including tissue paper, coloring pages, and more, and visit the altar at the library!
Materials will be available to pick up:
Thursday November 5th from 3pm-5pm
Friday November 6th from 3pm-5pm
